PRIVACY
Your photos stay with you.
Passport Print Studio processes selected photos and camera captures in your browser. The studio does not upload them to a photo-processing server.
Effective October 4, 2026. This page describes the web studio.
The paid web edition has a separate paid export privacy notice. Clean files are rendered locally; after explicit consent, only the finished JPG, PNG or PDF passes through the paid-access gateway for entitlement verification.
What the studio does
- Edits photos on your device.
- Keeps your chosen source file separately from edited exports.
- Caches public app files so the studio can work offline after an online visit.
- Saves or shares a photo only when you choose that action.
The app includes no analytics, advertising, tracking scripts, account system or photo-upload endpoint.
Photos and editing sessions
Chosen photos, camera captures and edits are held in page memory. Clear all photos removes the app's current session. Closing or reloading the page also ends it. The app's offline cache contains public application assets, not personal photos. Browser or operating-system storage behavior is controlled by your device.
Downloads, originals and sharing
Files you download or save remain in the destination you choose until you remove them. Sharing sends a file to the receiving app or destination you select; that service then handles it under its own policies. Your device's backup and sync settings can also affect saved files.
Original-file saving preserves the bytes the browser's picker provided. A photo picker may convert an asset before the studio receives it. The studio cannot undo that conversion.
Camera permissions
Camera access is requested when you choose to take a photo. You can deny permission and select a file instead. The studio stops its browser camera stream when capture closes or the page becomes inactive. Camera and photo-picker behavior outside the studio remains subject to your browser and device settings.
Hosting and external links
Your browser contacts the website's hosting providers to fetch public app files. Providers may process ordinary connection information, including IP addresses, browser details and request metadata, for delivery, security and operational logs. That is separate from the app's local photo processing; their retention follows their own policies.
The production web edition is intended to use Cloudflare Pages/Workers delivery. See the OpenAI privacy policy and Cloudflare privacy policy. Opening official guidance links contacts those external websites.
Help and changes
The help page provides instructions without collecting support submissions. If future versions add a contact form, analytics, uploads or other data collection, this page will be updated to describe it.
